‘HOT TO GO!’ hitmaker Chappell Roan demanded an apology from the photographer in question
Chappell Roan has had yet another heated exchange with a photographer while on the red carpet.
Back in September while attending this year’s VMAs, Roan – real name Kayleigh Rose Amstutz – ended up exchanging some rather angry words after someone appeared to tell the star to ‘shut the f**k up’.
“No, you shut the f**k up,” Roan angrily responded to the photographer.
“No. Not me, b***h,” she added.
Many people applauded the 26-year-old for standing up for herself.

Going on to address the matter, Roan admitted that being on the red carpet is ‘quite overwhelming and quite scary’.
“I think for someone who gets a lot of anxiety around people yelling at you, the carpet is horrifying. And I yelled back,” she explained to Entertainment Tonight.
“You don’t get to yell at me like that,” added the ‘HOT TO GO!’ hitmaker.
Now Roan has had another run-in with a photographer while on the red carpet for Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour premiere in Los Angeles last night (October 25).
Posing for photos, Roan clocked a certain photographer and pointed at them.
Walking up to the person in question, she said that they’d been ‘so disrespectful to [her] at the Grammys’.

“You yelled at me at the Grammys party,” Roan went on, adding that they were ‘so rude’ to her.
“I deserve an apology for that,” the singer continued, but it didn’t seem as if the photographer was willing to give one.
When someone from her team ushered Roan back to pose for more photos, she told the photographer that she had the dispute that she wasn’t going to pose for them.
Roan’s reaction has left people divided; while some have applauded the ‘Good Luck, Babe!’ singer for not letting the photographer’s bad behavior slide, others weren’t as supportive.

But one famous face that’s on her side is Jameela Jamil. She commented on an Instagram video of the incident: “Everyone s****ing on her for this. But we applaud men when they literally slap photographers!
“We need to make a decision whether we like or don’t like celebrities setting boundaries. But it can’t be one rule for men and another for women. In 2024.”
Others on Twitter hailed Roan as an ‘icon’.
