Donald Trump has spoken out following Virginia Giuffre’s death at 41.
Giuffre’s death, confirmed over the weekend by her publicist and her grieving family, has sent shockwaves across the world.
She is survived by her three children, Christian, Noah, and Emily.
In a heartbreaking statement, her family announced: “It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia. She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.
“Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors.
“In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.”
They added: “Despite all the adversity she faced in her life, she shone so bright. She will be missed beyond measure.”
The announcement confirmed what many of her supporters feared — that the lasting trauma from her past ultimately became too much to bear.
US President Donald Trump also addressed the devastating news when speaking to reporters at a New Jersey Airport, per the Standard.
Beyond her lawsuit against Andrew, Giuffre was a fierce and vocal advocate for sex trafficking survivors.
American-born but living in Australia for years, she emerged as a central figure in the downfall of Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender.
She previously shared how, while working as a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago — Trump’s Palm Beach club — when she was just a teenager in 2000, she was approached by Ghislaine Maxwell.
uffre was hired as a masseuse for Epstein and alleged she was flown around the world for meetings with men at Epstein’s behest while still only 17 and 18 years old.
The fallout from those revelations continued to ripple through the worlds of politics, royalty, and high society for years.
Tragically, in the weeks leading up to her death, Giuffre had faced further personal turmoil. She had recently separated from her husband, Robert, and was due to face court over allegations she had breached a family violence restraining order.
She also made headlines last month after being taken to hospital following a traffic collision.
At the time, Giuffre claimed she had just “days to live,” though Australian police described the incident as “minor.”
On Monday, a Western Australia Police spokeswoman confirmed Giuffre’s death was still under investigation by major crime detectives but said it did not appear suspicious.
The Perth Coroner’s Office also confirmed that her death had been reported for further investigation.
